Some recent achievements
Ina works with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information to preserve the national radio heritage. The assignment involves auditing radio tapes, CDs and files, outlining a digitisation plan and managing digitised content. Since 2013, Ina has also worked with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and Kuwait TV to oversee the digitisation and management of the video archives, and the deployment of a Media Asset Management system, Hardware Security Module (HSM) and robotics.
In Algiers, Ina organises training modules on the jobs and issues related to processing posters, photographs, film and digital files throughout the archiving process, as part of a programme to support the preservation of the Algerian cultural heritage, financed by the European Union and the Algerian Ministry of Culture. No fewer than 20 training experts from various institutions and heritage companies (BNF, National Archives, French Cinémathèque, Toulouse Cinémathèque) worked on the educational content of these courses.
Finally, the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) entrusted Ina with the audit of the African Union for Radiodiffusion archives, as part of a protocol agreement between the two institutions in 2016. This major collection was built up over 30 years of exchanging programmes between African states (35 countries represented). This assignment is part of a more global project to assist the Union in the digitisation of its archives.
