A tribute to Pierre Henry

Pierre Henry, who died last July, leaves behind one of the major musical canons of our time. Several events to honour the composer are taking place this autumn, and INA is contributing to the festivities by paying homage in images.

An entire night of concerts devoted to Henry’s work was presented at the Philharmonie de Paris on 7 October as part of their Nuit Blanche series. This December the composer would have celebrated his 90th birthday. Four concerts are scheduled to be given in Studio 104 of the Maison de Radio France. GRM will be offering its own tribute from 10 AM to 4 PM.
